I love when kids can't remember the actual words used and try to make connections using similar words. My favorite from when my daughter was little: when Sen. Wellstone died I cried for days. At one point she came to me and tried to cheer me up by saying, "Mommy, I'm sorry Mr. Good Rock died." It took me a minute, and then I just hugged her and smiled.
